Un 2 de September de 2018 coneguérem la trist notícia de que LoliRock no es renovava per una temporada 3, cancel·lant-se així contra toda voluntat dels fans i dels propis creadors de la série.
La propia pàgina oficial de LoliRock, tant a Facebook com a Twitter, anuncià que la història no havia acabat i volien continuar negociant la proposta. No obstant això, les esperances dels lolirockers patiren un fort colp quan descobriren que el 2019 tot l´equip s´havia dissolt i es trobaven treballant a projectes diferents i a altres companyies alienes a Zodiak Mèdia.
Amb la notícia de la cancel·lació de la sèrie, el silenci dels comptes oficials a les xarxes, la separació dels membres de l´equip de creació de LoliRock i el fandom pràcticament mort, les expectatives eren quasi nul·les fins una piulada de Thomas Astruc (creador de Prodigiosa Ladybug) on anunciava un reboot en preparació d´Espies de Veritat, la sèrie de xiques màgiques prèvia a LoliRock pertanyents a la mateixa companyia.
Sigué una notícia veritablement encoratjadora, si Zodiak Mèdia estava produïnt un reboot d´Espies de Veritat, per què no de LoliRock? Les esperances de poder gaudir en un futur no tant llunyà de la continuació de la nostra sèrie preferida tornaven a resorgir a la vegada que ho feia el fandom. I ara, encara més, després de l´última publicació a Instagram de Jean Louis Vandestoc (creador de LoliRock), qui afirma què - pel que fa a la Temporada 3, l´única cosa que puc dir és: HI HA DISCUSSIONS."
Creieu que s´està debatent la realització d´una Temporada 3, o si per contrari s´està barallant un reboot de LoliRock? Pareu atenció lolirockers i feu córrer la veu, sembla que hi hauran notícies al respecte dintre poc!

On September 2, 2018, we learned the sad news that LoliRock wouldn't be renewed for a 3rd season, thus being canceled against the wishes of the fans and also the creators´.
LoliRock official page, both on Facebook and Twitter, announced that the story wasn´t over yet and they wanted to continue negotiating the proposal. However, the lolirockers' hopes suffered a severe blow when they discovered that in 2019 the entire team had disbanded and found themselves working on different projects and other companies outside of Zodiak Media.
With the news of the cancellation of the series, the silence of the official accounts on the networks, the separation of the members of the creation team of LoliRock and the fandom practically dead, expectations were almost nil until a tweet from Thomas Astruc (creator of Miraculous) where he announced a reboot in preparation for Totally Spies, the previous magical girl series to LoliRock belonging to the same company.
It was really encouraging news, if Zodiak Media was producing a reboot of Totally Spies, why not LoliRock? The hopes of being able to enjoy in the not-so-distant future the continuation of our favorite series resurfaced at the same time as the fandom. And now, even more so, after the latest Instagram post by Jean Louis Vandestoc (creator of LoliRock), who claims - regarding Season 3, the only thing I can say is: THERE ARE DISCUSSIONS."
